It's thought that the first seven kids were born in South Carolina and the last six kids were born in Warren County, Kentucky.
John's will was probated on November 10, 1847 in Warren County, Kentucky. Mary was listed in her husband's will along with granddaughter Mary Jane, and children; Jeremia, Rebecca, John, Mary. Phebe, Nancy, Sarah, Reuben, Jesse, Moses, Leah, Ephraim.[4][5][6]
Mary passed away in 1863 and is buried at the Oak Forest Cemetery in Redbird, Gasconade County, Missouri.[7]
Research Notes
There could be an issue with her maiden name. Other sites have it listed as Osborne, but unsourced. Her marriage license has her name listed as Haga. Is that her maiden name or was there another marriage before John?[8] Find a Grave has her name listed as Jones but there is no source or tombstone picture to prove it. If this does prove to be her grave site info then the source format will need to be changed.[9] The death location on this memorial makes sense because she was living in the vicinity with her son three years prior to her death.[10] Further sourcing to prove her maiden name is warranted.
A source, other than Find a Grave, needs to be found for her death location. There are too many unsourced possibilities.
