Biography

Garrett [Jared?] was born between 1800 and 1810. He was the son of William Jones.

Garrett Jones was born ca.1805 and died at least by SEP 1851 when his father's will was made, but he probably died before 1850 when four of his children were living with their Aunt Effa (Effie) Delong Wendell in Ross Co. OH.

Garrett Jones's father was William Jones from his first wife.

When Garrett was about 22 he married Nancy Delong on 29 April 1827 in Guernsey, Ohio.^[1][2]

In the 1840 census Garrett (age about 35) was living in Guernsey, Ohio.^[3]
