Pearl S Jones Bennett was my paternal grandmother. I did not know her, she died in 1939 and I was born in 1955. I only met one of my father's brothers James Harvey Carlton "Carl" Bennett once briefly in Lewiston, ID in July 1975. So all my information on my paternal side comes from records and family I have had contact with since beginning my genealogy research in 2006. Or what my father told me about himself and his family and life in person, letters, and on visits after 1975. Lilly B

Pearl S Jones Bennett was the dau of John Harvey Jones and Melvina Harbour. Pearl died on 14 Jun 1939 as I have a pic (given to me by a family member) of her spouse Thomas Smith Bennett with 4 of their 5 sons and 4 daughters taken at the time of her funeral on 16 Jun 1939 in Kansas City, MO. Only Louis Estes Bennett was not there, he was next to eldest son b: in 1899. I also have her death record. My father was their youngest child Thomas Alvin Bennett. I have the whole tree on ancestry.com. Lilly B
