Biography
The first born of JU Jones and Olivia Odom was Sara, named for her grandmother. At about 30 years of age she married a French sailor, Joseph Abear. Joe passed away in the state asylum in Columbia about 10 years after Sara. She is buried in the Double Pond Baptist Church Cemetery.
