John Ramsey Jones was born on January 7, 1806, in Sullivan County, Tennessee. John was the son of Thomas Jones, and Susannah Ramsey. He married Catherine Morrell in 1815, in Tennessee. John Ramsey passed away in July of 1880, in Sullivan County, Tennessee, at the age of 74.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]
