Biography
Humphrey Jones was born on 1 Jul 1866 in Holywell, Flintshire, Wales to parents Edward Jones and Sarah Foulkes. He married Annette (Netta) Jane Colver on 18 Jun 1894 in Wray, Colorado. Children: Marguerite Annette, Ruth Colver, Esther, Colver Humphrey. He died on 7 Nov 1956 in San Jose, California.
Humphrey Jones began his newspaper career as a newboy in 1879 in Denver, Colorado, for the Rocky Mountain News. He became a reporter and then the editor of the Wasco News for 12 years. He owned a number of newspapers over the years.
Humphrey was born in 1866. He passed away in 1956.
