Biography

Epsey was certainly born sometime between 1810 and 1820, and almost certainly not later than 1816. She was married in January of 1833 and had her first known child in 1833 as well.

By 1840, she was the mother of four living children, three of whom were less than 5 years old.

By the time of the 1850, taken on August 5th, her husband was apparently widowed, and living with eight of their children. I have used this date in Epsey's date of death entry.
