Biography

Mary Sophia Jones was born on 23 Aug 1838 ^[1] in Stourbridge registration district, Worcestershire, England. ^[2] She was the daughter of Richard Jones and Phoebe (Guest) Jones. ^[3]

By June 6th 1841, they were living in Brittle Lane, Old Swinford, Staffordshire, England. ^[4]

The family emigrated to the United States around 1845-7, based on the 1860 census ^[5] (1845 according to the 1900 census).
