Joanne (Colburn) Meyers
Grandma Winnie had to give up her Colburn children when they were very young.because she was too sick to care for them. Aunt Norma went to live with her mother's sister. I'm unsure which one. My mother, Shirley went to a friend of the family. Charles went to his father's family and I think Jerry as well. The boys and my mother ended up at some point in the boys home and girls home in Decatur, il. Jerry died of leukemia when he was 17 years old.
