Another little PS...you will find William and Didema living in Morgan County not Miller County Misssouri.

William Jones and Didema Burks Jones were my family through their son Allen B. Jones. The census says Allen was a physician. He died sometime during the Civil War. His wife was Caroline Miller. She went to live with her father and mother after Allen died. my GG-grandmother Sarah Didema Jones and her family were living with her grandfather William Miller when she married James Harvey Vernon. She was named for her two grandmothers Sarah Mulkey Miller and Didema Burks Jones. William was a preacher in Miller County, Missouri. He is on record as the the preacher that married many of Miller county's young people during his time there.

if anyone out there knows anything about Allen B.'s death and burial I would appreciate the info. I would also like to find where Didema was buried and how she died. These details keep nagging at me. Thanks bunches...keep them alive....
