From Find a Grave: ""Ira Jones, Jr., 66, of Parkersburg, formerly of Newark, died March 31 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

"He was born June 11, 1932, in Wirt County, a son of the late Ira and Maggie Fought Jones.

"He is survived by two sons, Lloyd O. Jones and Randy Jones, both of Parkersburg; one daughter, Mary L. Gordon of Parkersburg; two brothers, Lloyd Jones and Lewis Jones, both of Newark; three sisters, Evon Frazier of Newark, Garnet Newlon of Parkersburg and Wanda Ashley of Barberton, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

"He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Jones and Paul Jones.

"Memorial services were held April 3 at Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with Evangelist Eugene L. Conger officiating. Burial followed in the Jones Cemetery, Newark."
