Biography

John Jones was born 1793, in Tennessee to Thomas and Elizabeth Wilkinson Jones. He married Elizabeth Unknown and had children, Richard, Unknown, and Malinda. After the death of his first wife Elizabeth he marries Alafair Meek Hubble in 1835, Arkansas Territory and has children Eliza, John, Lewis, twins James and Mary, Rachel, and Tiletha. John dies in 1862, his exact death date and place unknown.

John migrated to Arkansas Territory circa 1830 with first wife Elizabeth and his children. His wife dies before 1835, and he marries Alafair Meek Hubble and has children. (source)

John is reported to have died 16 May 1862, in Indian Territory, this is not sourced nor documented. He is last documented in Johnson, Texas on his 1860 Census (source)
