Alsey Hunter, son of Isaac 'Of Swift Creek' Hunter, married Charlotte Jones, January 08, 1810, Wake Co, NC. Her father was Levi Jones. Their daughter, Nancy Ann Hunter, married William Eldridge Smith, February 12, 1834, Wake Co, NC. This is the line that I am researching. William's parents were Thomas Smith and Barbary Jones, who married December 04, 1797, Wake Co, NC. I am looking (forever) for her parents. With all these Jones married about the same time and same place, one would think that there was a connection.
