Gwladys Rachel Letitia (Jones) Davies (abt. 1891 - abt. 1978)

Gwladys was a keen birdwatcher, and a gifted naturalist. She had spiritual gifts, and was intuitive. She fed birds from the windowsill of her upstairs flat in Aberystwyth. She could name almost any flora and fauna in the area. We often went together on nature walks, and sourced food from the hedgerows such as winberries - a kind of wild blueberry to make pies. We also picked wild mushrooms. My grandmother was into nature cures, and used to collect sheep-wool, an oily natural remedy for corns. There was a magical quality about her, and she was very kind-hearted.
