1873: Edward Elmore Jones was born on the 18th of December 1873[1][2] in Yongesborough, Lee County, Alabama to Samuel Goode Jones and his second wife Aurora Serena Elmore. Edward was the youngest of the 6 surviving sons of this second marriage.
1933: Edward never married and passed away in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama on the 15th of July 1933[3]. He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery[4] in Montgomery on the 16th of June 1933 near other members of the Jones extended family.
