Biography

William Jones, Sr, was born in 1760, in Henrico County, Virginia. He died 1 Jan 1835.[1]

Occupation: Brick & Stone Mason. William Jones was also a Baptist preacher in the Indian Creek community of Yancey County. [2]

Religion: Baptist.

Served in Revolutionary War in North and South Carolina, part of the time under General Greene.
