Biography

Jessie Isabel Jones was born in 1889 in Harbour Island, Bahamas to Thomas Fitzpatrick Jones and Frances Harriet Demeritt.

Jessie married Herbert James Claridge, son of William Farrington Claridge and Cornelia French Claridge, about 1904 - 1905 - they had a daughter (Fanny Isobel) in March 1905 in Nassau, Bahamas. The couple had another daughter, Patricia, in September 1911.

Herbert James Claridge died 8 February 1926 in Nassau, Bahamas at 45 years of age. Jessie Claridge married, second, Robert Wheatley Turtle in 1929 at The Bishop's Chapel, Nassau.

Jessie Isabel Jones Claridge Turtle died 7 May 1933 at 43 years of age in Nassau, Bahamas.
