Mary Jones was born in 1668, Charles City County, Virginia.^[1][2][3][4]

Her parents were Peter Jones and his wife Margaret Wood.^[5][6]

Mary Jones married Joshua Wynne^[7][8][9] on 6 July 1685.^[4]

Note: Aug. 12, 1718 is the date of her mother's will, which appears to name her husband and several of her children (Margaret's grandchildren), but not her.^[16]

Joshua married (2) Frances Anderson, in 1711. From her profile:

"Joshua Wynne had a first wife, Mary Jones, who predeceased her husband sometime between 1707 and 1711, leaving him free to marry Frances (Anderson) (Herbert) Cocke."
