They lived in Wheatland, Kenosha, Wisconsin where he was farming, and Anna was taking care of the home and children, Frederick-8, Christina A-4, Adon-2, and the baby Hermon 5 months old, in 1850.[6][3]
Her husband Lars Chrisotffor (Louis) passed away on April 12, 1851, in Sacramento, California, at the age of 45. They had been married 16 years.
Anna Beata married James Pierson (1839-1888) in 1853 when she was 40 years old. They had 2 chldren.

They lived in Wheatland, Kenosha, Wisconsin in 1860, where James farmed and she took care of the home and family, of his children and hers.[7]
They moved on to Iowa where they lived in Douglas Township, Bremer, Iowa in 1870[8] and Lafayette Township, Bremer, Iowa in 1880.[9]
She died at age 79, on July 21, 1892 in Bremer, Iowa, and was buried in the Horton Cemetey in Horton, Bremer, Iowa.[1]
