Biography
He was recorded as the owner of Tomb in Østfold in 1309, and was then named Assur Jonson Stumpe.[1]
He was recorded in 1307 as acting on the king's behalf regarding an agreement with Swedish dukes Erik and Valdemar.[2][3]
He was one of the witnesses on a document regarding a property gift from Fru Jartrud to Mariakirken in Oslo in 1308.[4]
Research Notes
Online family trees tend to make him the son of Jon (Ragnvaldsson) Smør but at the same time give him a birth year 20 years before Jon.
