Biography

European Aristocracy
Haakon Jonsson was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.

Haakon Jonsson (d 1391 or 1392), is recorded as having been offered the throne in 1387–88, when Olav IV had died. However, he gave an assurance to Queen Margaret, Olav's mother (bd 25) and the Privy Council that he did not want to claim Norway's crown.
