Biography

Judith Jordan was born in 1736 the child of River Jordan. She married Joseph Delk in 1756 in Virginia. They had two children during their marriage. She died as a young mother in 1770 at the age of 34.

Priscilla (Browne) Jordan (1709-abt.1765) has been removed as mother of this profile because there is uncertainty as to 'who' is married to 'younger' River Jordan (abt.1703-abt.1750), whether it is Priscilla (Browne) Jordan (1709-abt.1765) or Priscilla (Unknown) Jordan (abt.1705-1765).

Judith should be disconnected as a daughter of Priscilla Brown and connected to River Jordan's wife, Priscilla Unknown. If there is no disagreement, I will plan to make these corrections this weekend.

A father's death date (Jordan-129 died 1735) should not be more than nine months before one of his children's birth dates (Jordan-123 born 1736) .
