She was born February 18, 1887 to parents John Henry and Maybell E. Watts Jordan. Her siblings include twins Mollie M. Jordan Barker and 'Dolly' Annie Virginia Jordan Forester, and Walter Henry Jordan. She married 'Charlie' Charles Leonard Townsend, a son of Drew and Narcissa Townsend, in Caldwell county on Oct. 29, 1905. She died in Texas, possibly in Travis or Caldwell county, on Oct 3, 1943. She is interred at Martin Church Cemetery of Goforth, Tx in Hays county.
