Charles Jordan Jr (1725-1780) and Charles Jordan (1725-1780) both list the same death date, apparently during
The Siege of Augusta, aka First Siege of Augusta, also McKay’s Trading Post, Relief of Augusta.
Vital Statistics
Death
Death Date may or may not be correct as a 18 Sep 1780 death at the Battle of Augusta is assigned to two different men of this era named Charles Jordan. They, however, have different fathers and YDNA descendants.

Jordan-15607 and Jordan-14693 do not represent the same person because: This biography [Jordan-15607] is intermingled with the biography of Charles II [Jordan-246].
Rather than just rejecting, please provide some evidence that there are three such people here. I only see two, yet your rejection of merge would suggest you believe there are three such people. Please elaborate on why you believe there are three such folks.
Note: Kerry Jordan's father, Max Jordan, has tested Y-DNA.

The YDNA evidence from the Jordan Surname Project at FamilyTreeDNA does not support the merge of Jordan-618 and Jordan-246. There appear to have been two different men named Charles Jordan. Descendants of Charles Jordan-618 are in the JG03 YDNA line and Charles Jordan-246 should be in the JG08 YDNA line, although I know of no male Jordan surname descendant of Charles who has taken the YDNA test to confirm this. There are other sons of Charles Wesley Jordan-10170 whose descendants test into the JG-08 YDNA line. The former Charles Jordan-618 and Charles Jordan-246 have different fathers, Jordan-191 and Jordan-10170, respectively.
Not enough people have provided their YDNA to WikiTree for the inconsistencies to be evident but there is compelling evidence on FamilyTreeDNA Jordan surname project.
It sounds like we are in complete agreement, there are only two Charles Jordan unique identities being conflated here and not three. (Three identities would be really confusing, rather we have three profiles that need to be pared down to the two identities.):
Jordan-618 (which unfortunately got merged away, leaving us with Jordan-14693 as the next lowest numbered profile to use for the second identity presently best described by Jordan-15607)
Jordan-15607 and Jordan-14693 appear to represent the same person because: I do not believe there are three people here, only two, so let's merge the other way between the three then.
Jordan-14693 and Jordan-246 appear to represent the same person because: All data fields match. Jordan-14693 is basically unsourced, so no basis for this to be a different person.
Jordan-15607 and Jordan-14693 do not represent the same person because: his Charles Jordan II, husband of Sarah Bufkin, is not to be confused with Charles Jordan II.

Seemed like I saw three Charles profiles (am I recalling wrong) and we just want two profiles? Note both these Charles have a son Dempsey Jordan that needs merging. This profile has no sources, so if we need to keep it, please add some sources to document the individual as distinct.

Question: Can the place of death be corrected?

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll proceed with trimming them down to just the two identities you outlined.
Thanks.

2. Read the comments on Jordan-14693 and Jordan-246.
If you have such evidence please add it to the profiles, otherwise, I see no reason to have three profiles.
1. Different fathers.
2. Jordan-14693 lacks sources.
3. The biography of [Jordan-15607] is intermingled with the biography of Charles II [Jordan-246].
We need more Jordan DNA to sort this out.
