Marriage 1: In 1836 Charles' first wife, Jane, and their daughter Jane Catherine die 6 weeks apart as recorded in Diocese of Cloyne parish records.[1]
Emigration: Charles arrived in New South Wales, Australia on 22 December 1840. He was a single man (widower), and his married sister, Maria Louisa Jordan Ahern was also on this ship with her husband Michael Ahern. Abraham Travers is a character witness for Charles for his emigration to Australia. Abraham Travers is also listed with Charles's father ,Edward Jordan, on the 1847 Cloyne Relief Committee (Famine Relief Commission Papers). Abraham Travers is a physician.[2][3]
Marriage 2: Charles married Hannah L Healey in 1841 in Sydney, New South Wales.[4]
Death: Charles passed away in Coonabarabran, NSW, Australia in 1887.[5]
