Biography

Lydia was born in September 1833 in Richland, Oswego, New York, USA. She was the daughter of Draper Henry Stewart and Mary (Look) Stewart.^[1]

In the 1860 census Lydia (age about 26) was living in Sandy Creek, Oswego, New York, United States.^[2]

In the 1880 census Lydia (age 46) was living in Sandy Creek, Oswego, New York, United States.^[1]

When Lydia was about 51 she married Joseph Hurd in 1885 at Pulaski village, Oswego, New York(?). Her third marriage, m(1) Elias E. Bentley, m(2) Stephen S Jordan, and m(3) Joseph Hurd.^[3]

In the 1900 census Lydia (age 66) was living in Pulaski village, Oswego, New York.^[4]

Lydia died at the age of 77 on 28 February 1911 in Sandy Creek, Oswego, New York, United States and was buried in Sandy Creek, Oswego County, New York, USA.^[5]

Newspaper clipping for funeral services listed her age to be about 80 years and that she was removed to Sandy Creek for burial.
