Josephine Jordan died young.
Emma was born April 16, 1845[1]in Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland County, Maine, United States of America to Walter Jordan and Martha Dyer.[2][3]
She died at the age of 16, September 18, 1861 and is buried in Bay View Cemetery, South Portland Gardens, Cumberland County, Maine.[1]

Jordan Memorial and findagrave has her born April 16, 1845, but her father was "lost at sea" March 21, 1844?
HIs headstone reads: Lost at sea December 1844.
