Andrew Jordain was born about 1806 in Nova Scotia (aged 65 in 1871,[1] 75 in 1881)[2]
Andrew was likey the Andrew Jordain of St. Marys, son of Peter and Margaret Jordain, who was mentioned in a mortgage deed dated 1829 (registered 1833) relating to property Peter willed Andrew. The mortage was also released in 1829 (but registered in 1834).[3]
Andrew appears in Wine Harbour in 1871 with his family,[1] and in Indian Harbour in 1881, and 1891 under his son Thomas' household.[2][5]
He died after April 14, 1891 when he was enumerated.
