Born Winifred Hawkins Jordan about 1815 possibly in Johnston County, North Carolina. Second wife of Britton Langdon, Sr. and mother to Nancy E Langdon Parrish, McDaniel Langdon and Major Jordan Langdon. Died 1881, age 66. Said to be buried in the Langdon-Parrish Family Cemetery, McGee Crossroads, Johnston County, North Carolina (no marker).[2]

Residence 1850: Johnston County, North Carolina as Winnifred Langdon (35) in household of Briton Langdon (58) with Briton Langdon (Jr., 17), Merrill Langdon (16), Erastus Langdon (10), Nancy Langdon (7) and Mac D Langdon (3).[4] Briton Jr., Merrill, and Erastus are children of Margaret Carroll.
Residence 1860: District W. Of Neuse River, Johnston County, North Carolina as as Winnifred Langdon (46) in household of Brittain Langdon (65), Erastus Langdon (20), Nancy Langdon (16), Mc Daniel Langdon (13), and Major Langdon (12). [5]Erastus is child of Margaret Carroll.
Residence 1870: Elevation Township, Johnston County, North Carolina as Winiford Longdon (57) in household of Britten Longdon (79) with Major Longdon (18), Effy Longdon (11) and James Longdon (7).[6]
