Biography

She married 1st to 'unknown first name' Carpenter. He died sometime around the Revolutionary War. They had 3 sons Thomas, Reuben, & John and 2 daughters.

She later married Thomas Moffett on Sept 10, 1782, in Jasper County, Georgia, USA. They had 6 children: Margaret Ann 'Peggy, Jane, James, Nathaniel Marion, Jacob and Elizabeth.

I descend from their daughter Elizabeth Moffett who married Elijah Snow Boynton on Feb 21, 1814, in Jasper County, Georgia.

The Diary of Josephine Robinson tells of her great grandmother ABIGAIL JORDAN who married Mr. CARPENTER and 2nd THOMAS MOFFETT.
