Biography

The genealogy does not have Silas Fairbank's family tree nor the location of the house. However, all of Nathaniel's children were born in Lancaster, MA, so it is likely that he died in that town. Also, his first wife was the daughter of Jonas and Thankful (Wheeler) Fairbanks (sic).

In addition to Joseph, the couple had the following children: Nathaniel, bapt. July 15, 1755 Rebecca, bapt Dec. 4, 1757 (may have died) Dec. 26, 1757 Sarah, born June 15, 1760; m. Feb 5, 1782, John Bennett of Weathersfield, VT. Mary, bapt. Apr 10, 1763; m. Dec 11, 1782, Asa Carter Martha, bapt. Sept 8, 1765; m. Aug 23, 1786, Benjamin Wyman

Nathaniel married (2) Sept 5, 1770, Sarah Bennett and the couple had the following children: Elizabeth, bapt. Apr. 26, 1772; m. July 17, 1793, Samuel Wilder 3rd Jonas, bapt. Apr. 10, 1774; d. Aug 5, 1838; m. Jan 27, 1796 Betsey Beaman Peter, bapt, Mar 31, 1776, d. June 20, 1802, unmarried.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Nathaniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Nathaniel:
