MRS. JULIA WALL.

Mrs. Julia Wall, wife of Mr. Jeremiah Wall, Crossroads, Mudgee, passed away on Monday week. The death, which followed on an operation, took place at the Prince , Alfred Hospital, Sydney. The deceased lady, who was 61 years of age, had been ill for some time. Mrs. Wall, who was of a kindly and genial disposition, was a most popular district resident, and her beautiful home was a proverb for hospitality. She was an excellent Catholic, and the mother of a fine Catholic family. The body was brought to Mudgee by the mail train, arriving in town early on the Tuesday morning, and was at once taken to St. Mary's Church, where it was received by the Rev. Father Flanagan, P.P., who conducted the prayers. The funeral took place on the Tuesday afternoon, the interment being made in the Catholic cemetery at Mudgee. The funeral cortege was a very large one, including re presentatives from all parts of a very wide district. The Rev. Father Flanagan officiated at the graveside. Mrs. Wall leaves, besides her husband, the following family : Messrs. W. Wall, Jeremiah Wall, and Arthur Wall, all of Crossroads; Mesdames Peter Mara (Mudgee), Herbert Charlton (Mudgee), W. Hodge (Dubbo), and Maroney (Forest Lodge, Sydney). This is the third bereavement in the family of Mr. Peter Mara with in the past few months. In October Mr. Mara lost his sister, Sister Mary Xavier, of the Order of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who died in a Sydney hospital. In the middle of the following month he lost a second sister, Mrs. O'Grady, of Albury. And now he has to mourn his wife's mother. — R.I.P. ;
