Biography

Charles Humphrey KEATING IV was born about 1996. He was the son of Charles Keating. He died 03 May 2016 in Tel Asqof, Iraq.

On May 3 2016, Keating IV was killed by small arms fire during an ISIL assault on a Peshmerga position approximately 3 to 5 kilometers behind behind enemy lines, near the town of Tel Asqof, 28-30km north of Mosul. ISIL militants broke into the position using three truck bombs followed by bulldozers which cleared the wreckage away, the U.S. responded with F-15s and drone strikes carried out 23 airstrikes; which destroyed two more truck bombs and stopped the attack. [1][2][3] Arizona governor Doug Ducey ordered state flags be flown at half mast on 4 May.[17]
