Mary Kettle (Kedall) was born between 1631 and 1635, probably in London, England. She was the daughter of John Kettle/Kedall and Elizabeth (Unknown). [4] [5] [7] See note below.
She was married in Watertown, Middlesex County, on January 11, 1654/5 to Thomas Whitney, son of John Whitney. [1] [2] [3] [4]
Children of Thomas and Mary (Kedell) Whitney, all born in Watertown, MA:
Mary died in Watertown September 20,1719. [6] [7]
Some say that Mary was born in Stow, Middlesex County. Her father, John, first appears in Watertown in 1642, when housing was first provided per Henry Bond (page 326). Anderson's Great Migration shows no John Kettle or Kedall immigrating prior to 1640. This leads me to believe that Mary was born in England and immigrated with her father sometime between 1640 and 1642. [4]
