Biography
Sarah (middle name uncertain) Keen was born on March 2, 1855, in Alabama, her father, John, was 23, and her mother, Sarah, was 20. She had one son with Mr. Slaten. She then married Robert Nathan Vansandt and they had six children together. She died on February 7, 1943, in Pasadena, California, at the age of 87, and was buried in Altadena, California.
