Theophilus was born on 8 February 1792 in , Sampson, North Carolina, USA. He is believed to be the child of William and Rachel Keene or Moses Keen and Martha Griffin.
He married Rachel E Raulerson about 1820 in Tattnall, Georgia.
Theophilus died at the age of about 57 in 1850.

FamilySearch suggests the parents are Moses H Keen (1754-1827) and Martha Elizabeth Griffin (1760-??). Their ages make more sense and their locations match. But I didn't see any sources that spell it out clearly. Someone more familiar with this family may have other ideas.
