Frank was at home through the 1860 census. As of Jan 2017, I have not located Frank in 1870. He is not listed with the family.
1879 Marriage
See photo. I'm guessing that since Frank's mother had already passed away and his father may have already been in Arkansas with his brother John's family that his sister Lee Ann Keeney-444 and brother-in-law Phillip Walton-1607 were required to attest for Frank. Frank was 26 and Harriett had just turned 16 when they married.
See photo. Frank & Harriett are living next door to William Rice and his new wife. Nearby is the young family of Lee Ann's brother-in-law Samuel Walton-1614. Also nearby is a W.S. Walker born in Illinois that is very likely Harriett's brother (possibly the 14 year old Scott listed on the 1870--not researched).
See photo. Harriett lists here (and in 1910) that she has had 4 children with 3 surviving. Those 3 are listed below. I have not found any record of the 4th child. Carl E. is only known to me by Shellie Mitchell's note to Scotty (below in Aknowledgements). Although I am modifying her statement of the names and number of children Frank & Harriett had, I will use the information for Carl. His birth date will be the same as Earl's and death will be 'before 1900'.
