Biography
Betsey Keeney, born 6 Apr 1796 at Braintrim, Pennsylvania, was a daughter of Joshua Keeney & Phebe Sturdevant.
She married 4 Aug 1811 at Braintrim, Pennsylvania, Loring Grant (who was a pioneer minister of the M.E. church). They had 12 children during the ensuing timespan through March 1837. This family was evidently quite mobile, with children born at Clarence, Smithville Flats, Reading, Caroline, Erie, Perry, Lima, and Auburn, New York.
Betsey (Keeney) Grant died 10 Jan 1867 at or near Niles, Michigan.
