Workman died on his way to work.
When workman, (Arbejdsmand), Carlo Lorentz Keil of Sundbylille yesterday was on his way to work at a Factory owned by Struwing in Frederikssund, he was taken ill on the road. A work mate found him helpless in a drain/ditch on the side of the road and he helped Keil to get to Kristinelund nearby.
It was obvious that Keil was seriously ill and therefore they called the hospital ambulance that brought the ill man to Frederikssund Hospital. On arrival there he was found to be dead.
Keil was 41 years of age and leaves behind a wife and three children. The deceased, whose father was a restaurant owner in Copenhagen, was a trained waiter but it is several years since he worked in the trade.
For about three years he has been employed at Fabrikant Struwing, (Factory owned by Struwing) where Keil was very highly thought of.
(note: Carlo Keil worked with machinery at the factory, possibly a lathe).
