Mary Kelley was born about 1883. They had 14 children. The Kellys had a small 20 acre farm in Kellyville.
Mama B passed away on Friday, Nov 6, 1959, shortly after noon, at the age of 78, at Washington St. Tammary Hospital in Bogulasa, Louisanna. She had made her home with her daughter Katherine.
Services were held at 10am on Monday, Nov 9, 1959, at First Baptist Church in Richton, Mississippi. Rev. Wm Averett and Rev. Charles Williams officiated. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery in Richton Miss.
Mama B was survived by daughters Katherine Spense, Mary Lou Riley, Mrs. J. Leon Fuller, Lebanon Oregon, Mrs. J. L. Wells, Biloxi, son George Blackledge Jr.; sisters Mrs J. C. Jones and Mrs. Bennitt Easterling and brothers Oren Kelley and Kearney Kelley from Laurel
