He was an acting Captain of the Lorne Scots Halton Peel Region Regiment WWII
He was the founding member along with his wife Margaret along with another couple of Community Living Oakville in 1953.
Lieutenant Robert ROY Kelley passed away peacefully at Billings Court Manor Burlington on Monday June 18 2012 in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Cherished father of Bob and his wife Barb, Barbie Howell and her husband Charles. Predeceased by his loving son David. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Robert, Kim, Jamie and Brittany and by his great-grandchildren Brooke, Adelyn, Joshua and Quinn. Roy was a veteran of WWII serving with the Lorne Scots Infantry. Respecting Roy's wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangement are entrusted to Ward Funeral Home 109 Reynolds Street Oakville 905-844-3221.
