Research Notes

The FamilySearch record references his father Ephraim as the youngest son of Nathaniel and Sarah and it identifies this Ephraim as that man's son, with the date of 3 Jan 1742. I inserted a link to the record image, where this appears in a note at the bottom of the image.
There is a mistake in the indexing of the probate record by Ancestry.com. The record image shows that the will was created in July 1814, and the probate date is in February 1815. Thus the January 1815 death date is consistent with the probate date. I have observed that Ancestry often mistakenly labels the date of a will as the probate date.
