Gad Kellogg was born about 1729 in Hadley, Massachusetts to Samuel and Sarah Kellogg. He married Lucy Sacket on June 14, 1757, in Westfield, Massachusetts. They had one child during their marriage. He served in the Revolutionary War out of Westfield as a private in Cat. Warham Park's Company, Col. Timothy Danielson's Regiment; enlisted May 4, 1775, muster roll dated August 1, 1775, serving 5 mos. and 4 days. He also served prior to the Revolution from 1754 to 1757. [1] He died about 1812 in Westfield, Massachusetts. [2]
