Benjamin was married three times. His first wife was Abigail Sedgewick with whom he had Margaret, Benjamin, John, Abigail, Jerusha, Maria, Samuel, Thankful and a second Jerusha Kellogg; second was Elizabeth Brown and the third was Elizabeth Webster.
