Biography
Nelson W. Kelly was born about 1831 in New York. He relocated to Michigan sometime prior to 1850. Nelson was married to Mary Spencer. He had two sons, Alfred A. Kelly and George Simeon Kelly. It is believed, based on 1850 census records, that he was the brother of George V. Kelly.

Died March 23, 1865 at Harper G H., Detroit Michigan[1]
