Ruby O Kelly was enumerated as head of the household at Justice Precinct 4, Palo Pinto County, Texas for the February 27, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1883 in Arkansas and married. He was a renter and a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Clyde Kelly, daughter Kelly, daughter Ruby Kelly, daughter Jewel Kelly and son Rayman Kelly.[3]
R O Kelley was listed as the father of Melvin Dewey Kelley who died April 4, 1931 in Stephenville, Erath County, Texas. The mother was listed as Clyde Tuggle.[4]
Rubin Oscar "Rube" Kelly is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan, Hood County, Texas.[5]
