United States Census, 1900 image of document

June 25, 1900 - ED 122 Justice Precinct 4, Palo Pinto County, Texas

Cara Hood was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Maysville, Garvin County, Oklahoma for the May 18, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1894 in Arkansas and had been married one year. She was the mother of one child and this child was still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Odie Hood and daughter Lizie Hood.[1]

September 12, 1918 - RFD 1, Lipan, Hood County, Texas

Caron Hood was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Justice Precinct 4, Stephens County, Texas for the January 15, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1893 in Texas and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head O R Hood, daughter Lizie Hood, daughter Lillie Hood, son Orval Hood, son Floyd Hood, son Wade Hood, brother-in-law J H Mcclanahan, sister-in-law (sister) Bertha Mcclanahan, nephew Cevil Mcclanahan, nephew Austin Mcclanahan and niece Calister Mcclanahan.[2]

Mittie Caron Kelly was listed as the mother of Mittie Yeuton Hood who was born March 10, 1922 in Lipan, Hood County, Texas. The father was listed as Odie Raymond Hood.[3]

Caren Hood was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Precinct 1, Collingsworth County, Texas for the April 14, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1894 in Arkansas and married. She was first married at the age of fifteen as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head O R Hood, son Arvel Hood, son Floyd Hood, son Wade Hood, son Dewey Hood, daughter Yentan Hood and daughter Virginia Hood.[4]

Mittie Caron Kelly Hood is buried at South Fairview Cemetery in Wellington, Collingsworth County, Texas.[5]
