21 Jan 1918 Aged 10 and a half, Cecil was committed to Mittagong Farm Home for Boys. The other nine boys on the page of records were committed for break, enter and steal mostly with one truanting and one uncontrollable. Cecil's offence was "neglected" (1)
30 Jun 1948 Now married and the owner of a cottage which he lets, Cecil accused the tenant of stealing furniture. Report in the Manning River Times (3)
In 1948 he was a railway fettler.
