MR S. A. KELLY The death occurred in the Wagga Base Hospital yesterday morning of Mr. Sydney Adam Kelly, of Edward street, Wagga, and late of 'Cambusdoon. 'Yerong Creek, at the age of 59 years. Born at 'Cambusdoon,' Yerong Creek, in 1882. Mr. Kelly was the second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Kelly. He was in his younger days a very keen -sportsman, being one of the best amateur Jockeys of his day. He was also an outstanding polo player. Until 1933 he resided at Yerong Creek, where he was very -well known and highly respected. In 1928 he married Miss Mary Willits , of Yerong Creek; and in 1933 they came to Wagga, where he resided until his death. He is survived by his widow (Mrs. M Kelly), one son; Sydney:- three- daughters Betty, Ann and Margaret; three brothers Messrs. William Kelly of Culcalrn,- Gordon Kelly, of Lockhart, and James Kelly, of Lake Albert, and three sisters. Mrs. C. J. Adams and Mrs. H. Page, both, of Sydney, .and Miss J. Kelly, of Peter-street, Wagga. He Is predeceased by his parents , and three sisters. The funeral will take place this afternoon, the cortege moving from the Yerong Creek - Presbyterian Church, after a service, to begin at 2.45 o'clock for the Yerong Creek cemetery.
