Born to parents Julia and John Jelbart Kelly in 1915[1]
Event: ROMAN CATHOLIC BAZAAR[2] Nita was voted the Farmers' Queen (Miss 1 Nita Kelly) winning the premier position with 72,564 votes.

A wedding was solemnised recently at the Maranui Methodist Church, Lyall Bay, when Phoebe Gwendoline, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Kelly, Lyall Bay, was married to Thomas Frederick, only son of Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Voyce, Lower Hutt. The Rev. M. A. McDowell officiated. In honour of the bride and bridegroom's membership in the choir, the service was fully choral, and Miss M. Hitchings presided at the organ. The bridesmaids were Misses Nita Kelly (sister of the bride) and Helen Voyce (sister of the bridegroom).
MARRIAGE She married Charles Ronald Howell on March 5 1936[6]
DEATH Nita died in Sept 27 1997 aged 81 [7]
